I was born in Davenport, Iowa, and moved to Kansas City when I was five years old. I grew up in the Waldo area of Kansas City just a few miles from where my wife Diana lived.
In 1975 I began my walk with the Lord through Youth for Christ. In 1983 I met Diana at the church I was attending, and we were married less than one year later.
Our family began to expand in 1986 and over the next few years were blessed with three beautiful daughters; Deborah, Katherine, and Rachael, whom we homeschooled. They now have their own growing families, and Grammie and Papa are having the time of their lives with eleven grandchildren (and still counting).
We began attending Cedar Ridge in 1999 and have been blessed immensely by the leadership and the body there.
I enjoy tennis and working on the farm and evening campfires with family and look forward to all the challenges and blessings the Lord has in store for us in the coming years.
