w up in south Kansas City, MO. Rex and his beloved, faithful wife Misty married in 1993, and have three grown children: Adam (wife, Aubrey; Florida), Benjamin (fiance, Emily; Peculiar), and Caitlin (Peculiar).

Rex and his beloved, faithful wife Misty married in 1993, and have three grown children: Adam (wife, Aubrey; Florida), Benjamin (fiance, Emily; Peculiar), and Caitlin (Peculiar). Rex and Misty live 3 miles west of Peculiar, with their adorable miniature Schnauzer, Otto.
The Lord led Rex into the counseling profession and he served troubled youth and their families in residential treatment programs, for over 30 years. Rex made a career shift, in 2019, and currently serves as a consultant and trainer with the Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST), working with schools and families to support behaviorally-struggling children and youth. Rex’s wife, Misty, works at the Cass Regional Medical Center, as a receptionist in the medical imaging department.
Rex was drawn to the Lord as a pre-teen, but did not begin walking with the Lord, until after he was married and his and Misty’s first son, Adam, was born, in 1996. Rex and Misty have served and worshiped in various churches, since being married, in 1993, and have been members at Cedar Ridge E.F.C. for the past 13 years, where Rex and Misty also serve on various ministry committees.
